National team captain Babar Azam decides final eleven, for the first match of series to be played in Manchester today.
Southampton: According to media reports, captain Babar Azam has made a big decision for the first T20 match between Pakistan and England.
It has been reported that captain Babar Azam has decided to field wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan for the first T20 match of this ongoing series. Former captain Sarfraz Ahmed will have to wait to return to the team.
On the other hand, talking to reporters, the Pakistan T20 captain expressed frustration over not scoring much in the Test series, saying, "I always try to play well. One of my goals is to score a century in T20." And to be honest, my goal is to score a century in this T20 series.
I am disappointed not to turn my start in the Test series into big scores but I will learn from these mistakes, I have analyzed them to improve in the next series. Talking about Shadab Khan and Haider Ali, Babar Azam said that they could be selected to promote the batting order while they would definitely consider selecting Haider Ali for batting in the first position.
"Shadab showed great form with batting in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). We will try to use the order according to the situation of the match," he said. Haider Ali is a great and excellent player, we have tried to include him in this group, he is playing well in the nets and is also performing well in practice matches.
The timing of 1st T20 match to be played on 28 of August 2020 is 10:00 PM in Pakistan.
